To train through teaching and example that may instill in each camper a desire to be a more faithful servant of the Lord... in the local church... one's prayer life and personal devotion... Bible enrichment... personal witness... and Christian living.

To be faithful in our commitment to God's Word as our standard of teaching.

To challenge campers and staff to full time service for Christ in all areas of Christian ministry, including the training of future youth camp leaders.

To provide an avenue for men and women, boys and girls to experience new Christian friendships with peers from across the state of North Carolina.

To ensure that campers who stay at Camp Maranatha will find that their stay was safe, challenging, exciting, fun, and uplifting in harmony with Christian love and guidelines.

To assist each camper in becoming spiritually aware of the importance of surrender and commitment of their life to Jesus Christ.

To provide a setting for spiritual enrichment through a deepening experience with Christ and fellowship with other Christians.
